Both complement each other and promote each other.
But how quickly you can create your own blog?
- without HTML knowledge
- without their own web space
- without a host without a domain
- without a provider
- without knowing at all what that means ;-)

PS: As you can see right into my blog list, also used Twitter as an official blogger BLOG. So there must be Wordpress not always, especially since this is the way through it to create in 10 minutes ;-))
